Because nothing enhances your e-cred like dropping the names of cars your "friends" own...even if you don't get the names right. »
As a half-Finn, half-American who's lived in the States all his life, I don't see a problem with this. I've been hit with some insane tickets over the years (relative to the amount I've been speeding) and it is what it is — you understand the laws in the place where you're breaking them, and you pay the penalty if you… »
Heyyyy, I just tossed the Jesses back on my 1150GS ADV this morning and rode down to Starbucks to "test the mounting"... »
Did you just say "$15k in safety gear you'll never use"...?
I don't think you understand how safety gear works, my friend...it's a very basic concept. »
Trust me here — as someone who owns a caged car with 5 point harnesses and Recaros, as well as a regular street car with a backup camera...the backup camera isn't enough. You absolutely need to be able to turn your head and check your blind spots. It's NOT easy or fun in the caged car. At all. »
As others have said, on the MK7 platform like my 2015 Golf, the sunroof slides up and out of the car. It takes very little space. »
YES! YES! I saw one of these on the road yesterday (in white, no less) and thought "WHY IS THIS VEHICLE HERE?!?"
What designer styled that thing and thought "Yup, looks great — job done."? »
Doug, I agree with your frustration. I share the same sentiment. I think about this from time to time. I'm a professional photographer. As in, I make my living taking photos. I have since I became an apprentice to a commercial photographer in 2001, during my Junior year of high school. Back in the days of 4x5 film and… »
I don't know that I would have been standing there...did you see all the debris in that snowbank that came flying towards the camera? »
It's pretty wild to me how much brighter LED light bars are than the old-school twirling-light specials. »
Pretty cool to see, and the bike looks like it held up well, but...
...someone at Alta needs to clean the lenses on their GoPros! »
This, kids, is an Arri 1200 HMI. It's a wonderful, wonderful light. If I were to go rallying, I'd toss four of these on the roof. I have no idea how I'd power them, since each one needs 20 amps of power, or how I'd pay for them, since they're about $8k each...but it would be awesome. »
Where's the interior shot? You're telling me that in 1995, they were too cheap to throw a GoPro inside!??! »
Awesome review. I picked up a 2015 Golf TDI in late October and have just hit 10,500 miles on it yesterday. It's got the 6 speed manual as well — really makes the torquey-but-gutless TDI fun to drive. I've had a blast in that car so far... »
That gunman that comes out from behind the pillar with an UZI in his hand...is that Johnny Knoxville? »
